USB Type C port: 

 आजकल के नए जितने भी स्मार्टफोन आ रहे हैं सभी में टाइप सी पोर्ट दिया जा रहा है तो इसका मुख्य कारण और कुछ फ़ायदा है।

आजकल लोगों को सबकुछ तेजी से चाहिए, चाहे फोन चार्ज हो या डाटा स्पीड और यही type C पोर्ट का मुख्य फायदा है। 

मोबाइल में टाइप सी पोर्ट देने के फायदे-

यूएसबी टाइप सी में डाटा तेज गति से ट्रांसफर होता है।

यूएसबी टाइप सी पोर्ट को लगाते समय उल्टा है या सीधा यह देखना नहीं पड़ता है जो कि typeB (जिसे micro USB भी कहते है) में देखना पड़ता है क्योंकि इसके नीचे दो hook होते हैं ।  

यूएसबी टाइप सी पोर्ट में एक ही पोर्ट से कई सारे काम कर सकते हैं जैसे-फोन चार्ज करना , डाटा ट्रांसफर करना (  5Gbps to 10Gbps की स्पीड तक)तथा इयरफोन से गाना सुनना (नोट : इयरफोन से गाना सुनने के लिए आपको इयरफोन में टाइप सी वाला जैक भी होना चाहिए , जल्द ही इंडियन मार्किट में ये दिखने लगेगा)

  टाइप सी पोर्ट में जल्दी चार्जिंग होने की मुख्य वजह इसकी  20 Volt/100Watt तक की पावर सप्लाई की क्षमता रहती है जो पुराने USB type B में नहीं थी। पर इसके लिए यह फास्ट चार्जिंग का फीचर आपके फोन में दिया होना चाहिए तभी तेजी से चार्ज होगा।

अगर 2 फोन टाइप सी पोर्ट वाले हैं तो एक से दूसरे फोन को चार्ज भी कर सकते हैं। 

अभी transition पीरियड है और अगले कुछ महीनों/सालों में type C और भी ज्यादा कॉमन हो जाएगा।

Technical Specifications of USB Type C

Type-C supports USB 3.1 and offers a top speed of 10 Gbps for transferring data. It also boasts a much higher power output of up to 20 Volts (100 W) and 5 Amperes. It should be noted that regular laptops usually have a power consumption in the range of 40-70 Watts, which means that Type-C easily covers their power requirements. Another functionality that Type-C offers is bi-directional power; in other words, it means that you can not only charge your smartphone through your laptop, but also the other way around!

Type-C has already received rave reviews from users all over the world, and has been rolled out in some major electronic devices, including the Chromebook Pixel, 1+2 and Nexus 6P (smartphones) and the Nokia N1 (tablet).
